Sports really depend on you, there's no real way of deciding which sport is better. Everyone has different reasons for prefering different sports. You don't have to really choose between sports - just like both of them. Some people are good are many different sports.

Personally, I think basketball is better because it's a fast game, there's contact and you could use and develop a lot skills when you're playing.

Basketball, by far. It is more fun, and faster paced and there are a lot more points scored. I love to play personally, and football is fun too, but basketball only has a team of five and offers more team interaction and closeness. It is way more fun, to me.
