History Repeating itself, once more

As most of us are all aware, this anime has a tendency to have history repeat. Another instance of this that, I am sure some people are aware of, but it just hit me while watching episode 20 is that, the little bunch of ninja's that follow Naruto around. Konohamaru, the kid with the glasses, and the pink hair girl, seem very similar to Kakashi and his old team, where Konohamaru would be Kakashi, the kid with the glasses Obito, and the pink hair girl Ren. Konohamaru has hair just like Kakashi, he wears his goggles in that episode almost just like Kakshi does now, except since he doesn't have the sharingan he doesn't need to cover both his eyes. Add into the mix that there is a strong possibility that Naruto will become Hokage one day, but before that happens he would need to be a jounin. In three years these little ninja's will probably be genin and right on track for having Naruto be there sensei like in the manga chapter 241 I believe. What do some of the other people think about that? Like I said in another post, itt is quite funny, how these things are right in our face but we sometimes don't even see them.

but then again almost everytime I read the manga I see things that occured because of earlier actions. so Kishimoto probably planned this out from the beginning

When I saw the title of this thread, I thought you were going to talk about the Sannin and their apprentices now. :D Actually I havent really paid attention to Konohamaru's gang in terms of their similarities to Team7 or Kakashi's old team. Hmm.. not that Im shooting down ur theory here, but dont u think that Konohamaru's team's temperaments are like waay different from Kakashi's old team's temperaments? Konohamaru's temperament is similar to Naruto, while Kakashi's temperament at Naruto's age, I'm willing to bet, is more like Sasuke's or Neji's. Although, Konohamaru might change when he grows up. If Konohamaru and company become genins after three years, it's doubtful that Naruto will become their Jounin sensei. Coz Naruto's still a genin right before going to training with Jiraiya - I dont think he'd have the time to take the Chuunin exam, not to mention the Jounin exam (if there is one) and by the time he returns, after three years, he'll probably be too busy going after sasuke to be doing missions for the village. Just a thought. :)

Naruto can be serious when he wants to but like Itachi41 said Naruto will most likely be trainin in 3 years.. but that is a good point you brought up though who would have thought of history reapiting itself like this. Hmmm, maybe your right he won't be mature enough to be there sensei at that time, but he will be there sensei at one point in time. Think about it this way the kids only respect/look up to one person in the anime out of the various jounin and chuunin teachers, Naruto. The kids will more than likely get some jounin teacher that they don't like from some character we don't even know or will ever see again (I base this off Konohamaru's first teacher the guy with the glasses). The team won't really excel under this teachers guidance as there sensei, so Naruto comes back into town and the 5th takes note of his maturity level and how much he has grown and decides that in order for him to finally mature that he should take them on as his students as his first mission for being a jounin. Another thing is that Iruka Sensei was against the whole idea of Kakashi being there sensi, who more than Naruto would he not want to be there sensei. This time around he will not want Naruto to be there trainer for the same reason he didn't want them to join the Chunin exam, he doesn't think he is ready. Naruto has already shown us that he is a good teacher, when he was instructing the thirds grandson in regards to how hard they all have to try to pick up the slack since the thirds death.

There is no way Naruto is going to pass up the chance to come back to the village and see how everyone progressed while he is gone, also he will want to see Sakura after 3 years, he will need to get up with the Konoha 5 again so they can go and pursue Sasuke one more time.

In response to the fact that Naruto will not be serious enough Kakashi isn't that serious all the time either, remember how girly he was acting when he saw that his book was coming out on movie. Both know that when it is time to fight though that it is time to be serious, I only hope that not to much of Jiraiya rubs off on him. In response to Konohamaru's friend passing away, I don't think that will happen but I haven't thought that far ahead to really focus on whether the anime would take that much from history and repeat it. I doubt they would take that path, although something like that would force Naruto to grow up in a hurry, but I fear the anime would probably be over before that part ever came back around.

But more like the Sandaime, Koharu, and Homaru(Koharu and Homaru are the old guys who came up to Jiraiya and told him that they wanted him to be the next Hokage). Konohamaru will be like his grandpa, Udon like Homaru, the one with the glasses, and Mogei like Koharu.

yea make sense there ... but i dun think konohamru would b as good as the 3rd hokage ... judging from the way it seems now when they become genin n enter the chuunin exam they would b killed easily

no, I dont really think that would happen. I mean, first of all, OF COURSE Naruto will be a jounin by then, hes already taken the chuunin exam once, and this whole series has been going on, all in the course of one year, because Naruto is still 12 years old, so in the time that those kids are old enough to be gennins, he will defenitely be a juunin.

second of all, if you read that again, you will notice that ALOT of things would have to happen for that to happen, and the overall solution is also sometimes almost hidden, and you usually wouldnt think about, and Masashi kishimoto probably hasnt even noticed alot of these possibilities that we do in Naruto, because he has to worry about what HAPPENS where we read it, and then have time to figure out what COULD HAVE and MIGHT happen.

They're like 6 years old now, you can't tell whats gonna happen in like 6 years when they become genin. Imagine that you look where in the Naruto world and you saw Naruto right before he took the exam. Would you be able to believe that he's the same guy who fought Sasuke at the end of this arc. I think that Konohamru is a genius though.

Wow,that is a very good theory you have there!Of course, anything could happen.Like the situation of Naruto,Sasuke,Sakura are also history repeating itself,as if they are the three Sannins growing up....

I think that Konohamaru and gang will grow out of their fixation with Naruto-kun after him being way three years and either have a sensei by the time he gets back or still be stuck in the Academy. I mean, six is like Kakashi's age when he graduated the academy and that was during the war. And even nine would still be 'young' in Konoha now a days. Konohamaru might be able to do it (Ebisu-sensei must have taught him something), but I don't know about Moegi and Udon.

As for history repeating itself, that's already happened with the Three Leaves and Team Seven so...maybe Kakashi is in for it whn Sasuke comes back to town. :confused: Just a thought...

nicely said...hotohori...like you i didn't pay any attention at all at konohamaru..i know this is only a theory but i think there is a chance that naruto will be konohamaru sensei.i could not even imagine that the last time konohamaru calling naruto boss..now sensei????....well we'll just have to wait and see....just die january die die die... :eek:

And yeah, I agree with kidistight that there is a good possibility that Naruto will one day become their sensei - but I dont think that will be when he returns from training with Jiraiya after 3 years. Maybe when he's older... like 20+ years old or sumthing.*thinking* (Hmm.. if Konohamaru & co are 6years old now, say they graduate in 6 years, then Naruto will be 18 or 19... ) Naah... Naruto's still too young to be a sensei...hmm.. hmmm..
