^well that's just awfully disturbing. I mean, really, teenagers are considering suicide just because of some unverified statement that the world will end?

that's funny. i never thought some teenagers would be stupid enough to believe such hypocrisy. I thought they were smarter.

(lol. i'm a teenager and look at me, I'm saying something against my kinds... weeee~)

It's not disturbing. If you know what going on in the world around you you should have already lost faith in most of humanity.

How is saying "the world is going to end in 2012" hypocrisy? Regardless, you should assume all people are stupid until they prove otherwise.

2012 Movie, YES! it's entertainment. If the movie title says 1944 D-DAY.. now that's more than entertainment.

About the film I would say; Hollywood is just taking advantage of the fuss. Since many people believe on the 2012 doomsday. The movie is expected to be a blockbuster hit. Since the dawn of superb CG visual effects. Movie makers are pushing the limits to give viewers much more realistic display of apocalyptic catastrophe. And 2012 movie is just simply falls on the same genre.

Movie maker's concern is business and not global salvation.

oddly enough i still want to see the movie even though i keep hearing other ppl say "no the horror i'm too scared to see it" bs stuff like that please what the hell can u be scared of a movie for? it ain't gonna magically happen about the theory come on now we're not that dumb are we?

I have a background in Physics and I can't stop rolling my eyes through the movie.
But I guess you'd gotta suspend your understanding in reality to be able to enjoy fantasy.

Anyway, you failed to catch the obvious intention behind my post. The fact remains that there are actually people who thinks it is true, or at the very least were mistaken that it has any basis in actual Science.

This movie is all played out by the same director of The Day After Tomorrow, its like watching a retake of his previous movies, but this one is weaker.

Yeh, its so annoying how Hollywood tend to milk an idea (i.e. Disaster Movies, etc) till death like that.

The world will not end in 2012 but I think there something make happened! My friend know a astrologer, he predicted future of many people and he's saying that every person have big event in 2012 year. Maybe it will turning point for humans? I like to think that way :-)...o yeah and the movie suck!
